The Power of Assets

OUR MISSION
To motivate and equip members of the Copley-Fairlawn community to join together in raising competent, caring and responsible children and adolescents by nurturing Character Traits and utilizing Search Institute's framework of Developmental Assets.

  • Our most recent accomplishments include:

    • Team Building Day for Youth Committee Members (February, 2007)
    • "A Nightmare on Ridgewood Road" Halloween Event (October, 2006)
    • Kick-Off Breakfast attended by 39 young people and adults (August, 2006)
    • Youth Committee bonfire/cookout (July, 2006)
    • American Cancer Society Relay for Life team  (June, 2006)
    • Student Dances, proceeds to Benevolent Funds for two local young people diagnosed with cancer. (April and June, 2006)
    • "Huddle-Up" sessions for teens
